What we treat
Assessment and treatment when appropriate. Some concerns may need lab tests, imaging, or an in-person exam or referral.
This service is not for emergencies. If you have chest pain, trouble breathing, severe bleeding, or another medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department. For free health advice from a nurse, 24 hours a day, call 811.
Yes. Appointments with our British Columbia–licensed physicians are covered by the B.C. Medical Services Plan, so there is no fee for the visit. You will need a valid B.C. Services Card (health card) number when you book.
No referral is needed — you can book directly online. Choose a time, tell us briefly what the appointment is about, and you are booked.
You choose an available time when you book. At that time, the physician phones you at the number you gave us, so you can take the call at home, at work, or anywhere in B.C. Please be somewhere you can talk privately and have your health card nearby.
Not everything can be sorted out over the phone. If your physician needs lab work, imaging, or a hands-on examination, they will arrange the requisition or referral, or direct you to the right in-person care.
Yes. Your appointment and your health information are handled under British Columbia privacy law, and your visit is documented in a secure medical record kept by the clinic.
Anything urgent or severe. Emergencies belong in an emergency department — call 911. For after-hours advice about whether something is urgent, call 811 to speak with a registered nurse, any time of day.
